Mario Romano Speaks: Education is
Key to Good Investments

Education, according to Mario Romano, is the key to good investing. "We all remember the days of high school and college where a lot of the learning took place in researching," says Mario Romano. Investment researching, Mario Romano points out, is not much different. Mario Romano would know. A 25-year veteran of Wall Street, Mario Romano began his legendary career with Lehman Brothers. In addition to co-founding his own company, Mario Romano has served in executive level positions for several Wall Street institutions.

It is very common, observes Mario Romano, for aspiring investors to lack the means and ability to conduct effective market research. "Many investors need to take a 'journey down memory lane', remembering the research skills they learned in high school," says Mario Romano, "and apply them to the global markets." Mario Romano believes with the right practice and right tools, aspiring investors can develop such researching skills.

Mario Romano also states that "the greatest tool in the toolbox of aspiring investors is technology." Data is readily available everywhere, notes Mario Romano, thanks to the explosive growth of the Internet. However, with that growth in technology, Mario Romano issues a warning. "Some of the information on the net," warns Mario Romano, "is useless opinion or words staged to throw off unseasoned investors."

Mario Romano's Wealth Engineering has diligently worked with Global Investor Services, Inc. to develop webinar training for aspiring investors trying to sort internet garbage from good investment information. In cooperation with InvestView, Mario Romano and Wealth Engineering are striving to develop financial trading education with a limitless demographic. Mario Romano's inspiring webinars allows unseasoned investors to log into training anywhere in the world and develop the analytical tools needed to evaluate publicly traded companies.

"Again, investors have to take on the ideas we learned in high school about research," says Mario Romano. Wealth Engineering, adds Mario Romano, assists the "student" in finding accurate research. "While the Internet has opened up a plethora of bad advice, opinions, and blogs about investing," says Mario Romano, "Wealth Engineering is working to help those up-and-coming investors navigate the waters." Good investment is about good education. According to Mario Romano, Wealth Engineering educates the individual investor, empowering him or her to make good decisions to build his or her individual wealth.

Mario Romano began his Wall Street career at Lehman Brothers in 1982. From then until the beginning of the new millennium, Mario Romano held several executive positions with a select group of Wall Street institutions. Mario Romano also served as CEO of Romano Enterprises LLC from May 2000 through December 2004. In 2005, Mario Romano co-founded Wealth Engineering and through their combined efforts, Mario Romano contributed to securing the largest contractual agreements for the InvestView platform of Global Investor Services Inc. Mario Romano has fine-tuned motivational skills that have allowed him to establish, grow and manage a group of over 100 retail stockbrokers. With over twenty-five years of Wall Street experience, Mario Romano believes the time has come for individuals to learn how to manage and grow their wealth. Mario Romano dedicates his professional life to these objectives and strives to solidify Wealth Engineering as a leader in providing financial education to the masses worldwide.

Mario Romano of Colts Neck Speaks:
Finding Balance Between Work and Family

Colts Neck, New Jersey resident Mario Romano cofounded Wealth Engineering with Annette Raynor in 2005. With high hopes, Colts Neck-based Mario Romano and his partner had a vision to use online-based financial education to help individual investors take control of their financial futures. By utilizing the flexibility and universal accessibility of the Internet, Mario Romano of Colts Neck saw the opportunity to reach a global audience. “I wanted to be sure our system would be available to reach anyone in the world,” Colts Neck’s Mario Romano explains. Wealth Engineering would be the vehicle for Mario Romano to better prepare clients to manage their own investment capital.

Along with his responsibilities at Wealth Engineering, Mario Romano served as Vice President of the local Pop Warner Football league in Colts Neck, New Jersey. When Mario Romano and his family relocated to Colts Neck, he made the decision to help create a new Pop Warner league for Colts Neck. With all the time he has invested in both Colts Neck youth football and his job at Wealth Engineering, Mario Romano has realized the importance of separating work from his time with family. “At first, I thought it would be an easy and welcome transition, leaving my work at work when I headed to my Colts Neck home for the night,” Mario Romano explains, “but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.”

Mario Romano began noticing an increased lack of patience with his wife Gina and their three children at home in Colts Neck. “The first thing I learned was that, in order to ‘leave my work at work,’ I needed to decompress before interacting with my family,” Colts Neck’s Mario Romano reveals. As an effective means of stress relief after a long day’s work, Mario Romano recommends hitting the gym. “Exercise is the most positive outlet for personal anger or frustration,” Colts Neck’s Mario Romano asserts. While fitting exercise into a busy workday can be quite a task, Mario Romano suggests his transitional period between work and Colts Neck is a prime opportunity for it.

Mario Romano of Colts Neck says that another way that has been helpful in separating work from family life has been to create a realistic list of daily work goals. When Mario Romano is able to meet his goals for the day at work, he can head home to Colts Neck knowing he has completed that phase of his day. “With the list of tasks checked off for the day, I can guiltlessly forget about work for the remainder of my evening at home,” Colts Neck’s Mario Romano explains. In addition to the checklists at work, Mario Romano says he schedules family dinners and game nights to add a sense of responsibility for him to attend. With a few adjustments, quality family time in Colts Neck – away from the stresses of work – is a real possibility.
